Children's Hope Alliance
Susan Ripley MA is an experienced professional in child welfare and adoption services. Currently serving as the Director of Child Welfare at Children's Hope Alliance since January 2024, Susan previously held the position of Executive Director/Owner at Florida Adoption Studies LLC from 2009 to January 2024, providing comprehensive support for private adoptions. From January 2004 to January 2024, Susan directed foster home licensing at Heartland for Children, focusing on recruitment, training, and support for over 250 foster homes in Central Florida. Additionally, Susan was the Executive Director at Building Families Adoption Agency from February 2013 to December 2018, aiding families in adopting children in need. Early experience includes serving as a Counselor in Adoptions and Protective Services at the Florida Department of Children and Families from 1993 to 2000. Susan holds an MA in Counseling from the University of South Florida and a BA in English/Writing from Saint Leo University.
