Ben Melson

Ben Melson is a Board Member at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Ben has also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Texas Children's Hospital and the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Melson began their career in finance at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Ben then transitioned to Texas Children's Hospital where they spent 11 years as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. During their time at Texas Children's Hospital, Melson was responsible for a number of operational and financial duties. Ben also oversaw the hospital's growth, quadrupling its revenue to $3 billion within 12 years.

In February 2017, Melson transitioned to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin where they currently serve as a Board Member. In this role, they are responsible for the financial oversight of the hospital.

Ben Melson attended Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting.
