Robert E. Shaddy

Robert E. Shaddy is the current Director at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Robert previously worked as the Division Head of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Alberta from August 2012 to January 2019. Prior to that, they were an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto from January 2006 to August 2012, and also the Head of Cardiomyopathy and Heart Function Program at The Hospital for Sick Children from January 2004 to December 2012. Robert started their career as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at McMaster University from January 1999 to June 2004.

Robert E. Shaddy's educational career includes studying medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand and completing a Master of Science in health economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
