Andrew Ruiz

Andrew Ruiz has a strong background in imaging services, with their most recent role being the Director of Imaging Services at CHOC Children's since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Imaging Services at El Centro Regional Medical Center from April 2017 to February 2021, where they demonstrated effective fiscal management and achieved significant expense savings. Andrew also held the position of Imaging Services Supervisor at the same medical center from June 2014 to April 2017, where they successfully supervised staff, provided training, and led process improvement initiatives. Before that, Andrew worked as an MRI Technologist at Open System Imaging from January 2012 to June 2014, where they gained expertise in operating imaging equipment and conducting thorough and efficient patient scans.

Andrew Ruiz earned an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer from Pima Medical Institute from 2009 to 2011. Andrew then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Pima Medical Institute from 2015 to 2016. Andrew furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Certified MRI Technologist from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in March 2013, Certified Radiologic Technologist from the State of California in January 2012, and Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) from AHRA in November 2020.
