Laura Rausch

Laura Rausch, LCSW, currently serves as a Senior Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh since November 2022, while also working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at PERSOMA Counseling Associates since March 2019. Laura has extensive experience in bereavement support, having previously held the role of Bereavement Counselor at Family Hospice & Palliative Care from November 2015 to November 2022, where responsibilities included assessing needs, facilitating support groups, and coordinating children’s bereavement programming. Additionally, Laura contributed to the field as a Continuing Education Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh in June 2016 and has held various positions focusing on education and community health promotion, including roles at UPMC and Cribs for Kids. Laura earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Social Work, Summa Cum Laude, from Chatham University.
