Spencer Bowersox

Spencer Bowersox, MSW, LCSW, currently serves as a Senior Clinical Social Worker at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities include employing therapeutic counseling methods and collaborating with healthcare teams to connect patients and families to community resources. Previous roles at UPMC encompassed positions as a Senior Social Worker and Social Worker, where Spencer facilitated therapeutic activities, managed crisis situations, and maintained a therapeutic environment. Spencer completed a LEND Student Trainee program at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on neurodevelopmental disabilities, and has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant, SNAP Outreach Intern, and in various coaching and volunteer roles.
