Owen Griffin is the current director at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Owen has over fifteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to their current position, they were the general manager of Dominion Performance Network, part of Dominion Enterprises. Owen was responsible for building and leading a network of online and mobile platforms that support the digital marketing objectives of their dealer and OEM customers.
Before that, they were the president and CEO of Continental Broadband, Landmark Communications. Owen was the CEO and co-founder of a leading multi-city regional service provider of mission critical collocation and managed data telecomm services to business customers. Owen led the growth of the company from a single city proof-of-concept to a platform company with operations in nine markets.
During their time at Continental Broadband, they completed 13 acquisitions representing $80 million in deal value as a part of a strategic regional roll-up of target companies. Owen canvassed the fragmented industry, identified attractive targets, established relationships with owners, led negotiations, directed due diligence teams and worked with outside legal team to finalize deals.
Owen Griffin has an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a MS in Tax Accounting from the UVA McIntire School of Commerce, and a BS in Accounting from the UVA McIntire School of Commerce.
