Shemeka Foster

Shemeka Foster is a production coordinator at Sony Pictures Entertainment since September 2022, where responsibilities include communication with partners and managing show-related tasks. Currently, Shemeka also serves as a creative coordinator for Hue You Know and a membership coordinator for the Children's Media Association. Previous experience includes roles as a script writer for GBH, supporting the development of a PBS preschool show, and serving as an executive assistant at Tinkercast, managing operations for the Chief Creative Executive. Additional roles include TV/Film development intern at CHERNIN ENTERTAINMENT, community producer at BRIC, and teacher at Achievement First, where educational resources were developed for a wide audience. Shemeka holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina State University.
