Clayton Smith

Clayton Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Clayton most recently worked at Children's Health as the Senior Vice President of Facilities Management. Prior to that, they held positions at Moffitt Cancer Center as the Senior Director of Facilities & Support Services and at Mayo Clinic as a Unit Head in Facilities Operations and Utility Plant Services. Clayton also worked at Owensboro Technical College as an Adjunct Instructor and at Auld & White Constructors, LLC and Hardin Construction in various construction management roles. Additionally, they gained experience at Walton Construction as a Field Coordinator. Clayton has extensive expertise in managing facilities operations, leading teams, budgeting, and compliance.

Clayton Smith holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Webster University, which they attained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management from Missouri State University, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001. Clayton's academic journey started at Republic High School, where they attained their high school diploma in 1994. In addition to their formal education, Clayton has obtained certifications including SASHE from the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) in 2021, FACHE from the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2018, and CHFM Certified Healthcare Facility Manager from AHA in 2013.
