Cylen Halford

Cylen Halford, BSN, RN, AMB-BC, NE-BC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Cylen began their career at The Children's Hospital at OU Medicine in 2014 as a Registered Nurse, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they joined Children's Health and started as a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory department. From 2019 to 2020, Cylen served as a Team Leader Registered Nurse, and later transitioned to the role of Clinical Practice Manager until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations - Ambulatory Services.

Cylen Halford holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. In 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Oklahoma City University. They are currently pursuing a Master's of Science in Nursing in Nursing Leadership and Administration at Capella University, with an expected completion in 2023. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Board Certified Ambulatory Registered Nurse from the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) obtained in 2019 and a Nurse Executive (NE-BC) certification from the American Nurses Association. In 2021, they completed a program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Business.
