Dinesh Rakheja

Dinesh Rakheja has a diverse work experience in the field of pathology and laboratory medicine. Dinesh began their career at Children's Health in 2006, where they held various roles such as a Pathologist and Division Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. In 2012, they briefly served as the Interim Division Director before transitioning to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. At the medical center, they worked as a Professor of Pathology and Pediatrics, Chief of Pediatric Pathology, and Associate Professor of Pathology and Pediatrics. Dinesh also served as the Interim Chief of Pediatric Pathology during their tenure and began their journey in academia as an Assistant Professor of Pathology. Overall, Dinesh Rakheja has extensive experience in the field of pathology and has held leadership positions in both clinical and academic settings.

Dinesh Rakheja attended Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram from 1980 to 1987. Dinesh then pursued their MBBS degree in Medicine at All India Institute of Medical Sciences from 1987 to 1992. Following this, from 1993 to 1995, they studied Software Technology & Systems Management at the National Institute of Information Technology. Dinesh continued their education at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, where they obtained their MD degree in Pathology from 1994 to 1997. Lastly, they attended UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1999 to 2006, specializing in Pathology and Pediatric Pathology.
