James Butler

James Butler, MHA, CPXP, currently serves as the Senior Director of Patient Experience at Children's Health, a position held since October 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing the patient and family experience across a 212-licensed bed facility and numerous ambulatory clinics with over 556,000 annual visits, in addition to managing a Family Advisor Network comprising more than 1,000 members. Prior experience includes various leadership roles in patient experience at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health, and a tenure at Mercy as Director of Patient & Family Experience and Manager of Service Excellence. Earlier career milestones at OU Health encompassed regulatory compliance and process improvement analytics. James Butler earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science in Community/Public Health from the University of Central Oklahoma.
