Kristin Cummins, DNP, CPHQ, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety at Children's Health, a position held since September 2020, following a tenure as Vice President in the same domain. Prior to this, Kristin held various leadership roles at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health from November 2014 to September 2020, including ACNO/Executive Director of Pediatric and Maternal Quality & Safety, where significant accomplishments included leading the Magnet designation process and driving reductions in patient harm events. In earlier roles at Riley Hospital, Kristin contributed to quality and safety initiatives as Director of Quality and Safety and played a pivotal role as Med/Surg Clinical Director. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Systems Leadership from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Indiana University Indianapolis.
