Leslie Huntington

Leslie Huntington is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and clinical optimization. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Optimization at Children's Health since September 2020, Leslie has successfully maintained nursing operations, led performance improvement projects, and advocated for nursing staff engagement. Prior roles include Clinical Quality Improvement Consultant and Nursing Team Leader at the same organization, as well as Registered Nurse in the Transitional and Rehab Care Unit at Cook Children's Health Care System. Leslie began the nursing career as a Patient Care Technician in a cardiac ICU and previously worked as an Actuarial Analyst at EY. With a strong educational background, Leslie holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, a Master's in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University.
