Lead Physician For Quality Improvement at Children's Medical Center of Dallas

Sachin Shah began their work experience in 2009 as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Surface and Nanostructure Modification. Sachin then became a McDermott Scholar and a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, they became the Co-President at UT Southwestern Class of 2017. Sachin's most recent role is at Children's Health, where they started as a Resident Physician in 2017 and has since held positions as a Pediatric Hospitalist and Lead Physician for Quality Improvement.

Sachin Shah has a diverse and comprehensive education history. Sachin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2009 to 2013. Sachin then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, completing it between 2013 and 2017. In order to further enhance their knowledge and skills, Sachin pursued an Executive MBA degree in Healthcare Leadership & Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they completed in 2023. Additionally, they attended New College, Oxford University in 2011 for a brief period to study Health Economics. Alongside their educational achievements, Sachin has obtained certifications such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), Physician Builder from Epic, and Board Certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
