Executive Advisor, Enterprise Workforce Management at Children's Medical Center of Dallas

Tom Burt serves as Senior Vice President of Total Rewards and Human Resource Operations for Children’s Health. His areas of responsibility include compensation, benefits, absence management, employee relations, compliance, human resource information systems, and human resource service delivery.

Since joining Children’s Health in 2008, Tom has developed and implemented an innovative and fiscally responsible total rewards strategy to support a rapidly evolving health care system. Among his accomplishments are improving the quality and cost of the employee health plan, creating market competitive compensation practices to support attraction and retention, and enhancing financial wellness and retirement programs to help team members prepare for a financially secure future. He led the effort to introduce workforce analytics that enables a more predictive and strategic approach to manage talent. His future focus is creating a robust human resources service delivery model that leverages digital technology and designing and implementing a total well-being strategy to deliver a compelling and memorable employee experience.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.
