Christina Medina

Christina Medina is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Communications and Public Relations at Children's Mercy Kansas City since April 2023. Previously, Christina held the position of Philanthropy Communications at Lead to Read KC from September 2022 to March 2023. Christina spent four years as the Director of Public Relations and Communications at Center School District 58, where responsibilities included sharing the stories of educators, students, and community members. Prior to that, Christina worked as the Communications and Public Relations Manager at Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City, overseeing content creation for the college's website, social media, and media outreach efforts. Christina’s earlier roles include Director of Communications and Public Relations at ISD schools and reporter positions at KSHB/KMCI and KCTV/KSMO. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Ithaca College.
