Jodi Kennedy

Jodi Kennedy, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jodi began their career as a Still Photographer in the Louisiana Air National Guard from 1989 to 1991, where they were responsible for photographic imaging and processing. Jodi then joined Houlihan's Restaurant Group as a Recruiter, where they recruited and interviewed candidates for various positions and developed methods to analyze their qualifications from 1994 to 1998.

In 1998, Jodi started working at Children's Mercy Kansas City, where they held various roles. Jodi began as a Senior Manager, HR Compliance and later became the Director of HR Compliance. In these positions, Jodi was responsible for ensuring compliance with local, regional, federal, and regulatory agency regulations and implementing HR compliance processes. Jodi led the HR Compliance Readiness Team and other compliance-related committees, guiding leaders and HR professionals to increase efficiency and ensure compliance. Jodi also managed government reporting for employment, including I-9 and immigration processes, affirmative action, and Joint Commission HR standards.
