Dave Hurst has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Dave started their career at Discover Financial Services in 1994 as a Project Manager, where they successfully managed high-profile projects to improve self-servicing systems. From 2004 to 2007, Dave worked at American Express as a Call Center Operations Manager, implementing strategies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Following this, they joined Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in 2007 as a Manager for Broadcast Operations/Creative Services, where they developed compelling visual storytelling concepts and produced video content to drive fundraising and awareness. Dave then moved up the ranks at CMN Hospitals, serving as Director of Corporate Alliances/CPG Programs from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they cultivated relationships with top consumer packaged goods brands to develop and grow product-focused fundraising initiatives. From 2016 to 2020, Dave held the position of Senior Director of Business Development/Activation, where they managed partnerships with emerging national corporate sponsors, helping them thrive in their support for children's hospitals. Currently, Dave serves as the Senior Market Director at CMN Hospitals, overseeing fundraising activities and partnership execution across ten markets in the Midwestern US. Dave also manages relationships with top corporate partners to establish a culture of giving back and championing for kids in their communities.
Dave Hurst attended Weber State University from 1994 to 1998 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media.
