Summer Carper is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in museum education and historical studies. Currently serving as the Teaching Kitchen Coordinator at the Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus since December 2018, Summer oversees chef hiring and training, develops food education classes, and engages with museum guests. Previous roles include Teaching Kitchen Specialist, where Summer designed and implemented cooking classes, and Museum Associate, facilitating guest experiences and leading educational programs. Summer has interned at History Colorado, contributing to historical research and exhibit design, and held leadership positions, such as Editor-in-Chief of the Historical Studies Journal at the University of Colorado Denver. Holding a Master of Arts in Public History and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology, Summer is committed to enhancing educational experiences through historical engagement and culinary education.
