Catherine Williams has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in nursing. Catherine started their career in 2003 at Hsc Pediatric Ctr as a Nursing Supervisor. In 2012, they joined Children's National Hospital as the Director of Neuroscience Nursing, and later assumed the role of Director of Neuroscience and Surgical Care Nursing. In November 2019, Catherine became the Director of Central Nursing Operations at Children's National Hospital.
Catherine Williams attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 1986 to 1989, studying Pre-Nursing. Catherine then pursued an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing at Northern Virginia Community College from 1989 to 1991. Catherine went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing from George Mason University between 1993 and 1995. Catherine further pursued a Master's degree in Health Systems Administration at Georgetown University from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, Catherine obtained the Nurse Executive-Board Certified (NE-BC) certification from the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) in June 2014.
