Linda Talley

SVP & Chief Nursing Officer at Children's National Hospital

Linda Talley, M.S., R.N., NE-BC, F.A.A.N., is Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer at Children's National Hospital. She joined Children’s National as a staff nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Linda has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Nursing for Critical Care, Heart Institute and Nursing Systems. In that capacity, she played a key role in Children’s National becoming a Magnet®-designated hospital, led the Beacon certification for the hospital’s critical care units — a distinction held by very few in the country — and developed and implemented a multidisciplinary simulation program.

Earlier, Linda served as the Director of Nursing Systems and Neonatal Services and as Nurse Manager in the NICU, Neonatal Transport Team and the ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) Program.

Linda is a 2019 American Academy of Nursing Fellow.
