Rebecca F. Cady has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Rebecca F. started their career in 1995 as an Associate Attorney at Grace Hollis Lowe Hanson & Schaeffer LLP, where they were responsible for managing malpractice cases and providing legal support to healthcare providers. Rebecca F. later became a Partner at the same firm and continued to handle malpractice cases and represent medical groups and healthcare businesses.

In 2002, Rebecca became the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Nursing Administration's Healthcare Law, Ethics, and Regulation. Rebecca F. then became the Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, responsible for managing compliance and privacy programs, as well as overseeing risk management for the pediatric health system.

Rebecca F. Cady earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Georgetown University in 1988. Rebecca F. later attended the University of San Diego School of Law from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. Additionally, they completed a Certificate in Strategic Decision and Risk Management from Stanford University in 2015. Rebecca also holds several certifications, including Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) from RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) and certifications from the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), such as CPHRM, DFASHRM, and ERM. Rebecca F. is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
