Stella Ghattas

Stella Ghattas has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Stella is currently the Director of Operations for the Center for Cancer and Immunology Research at Children's National Hospital, where they previously served as Senior Counsel and Legal Counsel. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Attorney at Meritus Health, managing the contract process and providing legal education sessions. Stella also worked as a Law Clerk at Meritus Health, assisting the General Counsel with operational agreements and negotiations. Stella has also held positions as an Academic Advisor at Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and as a Post Graduate Fellow at Catholic University Columbus School of Law, where they worked on research projects related to child exploitation and child sex trafficking. Additionally, they gained experience as a Legal Intern at the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Childrens National Medical Center, the US Court of Federal Claims - Office of Special Masters, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and MedStar Health.

Stella Ghattas pursued their education in a sequential manner. Stella attained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from George Mason University between 2004 and 2008. Later, they attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) with a concentration in Health Law. In addition to their academic achievements, Stella Ghattas also obtained certifications as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing in 2008, and as a member of the Virginia State Bar from the Virginia State Board of Law Examiners in 2012.
