Tyler Salvador

Tyler Salvador is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Children's National Hospital since June 2016, where responsibilities include managing laboratory operations and leading the development of a novel photogrammetry device for capturing 3D images of infants with foot deformities. Previous roles at the hospital include Research and Development Engineer, focusing on a home-based ankle rehabilitation robot for children with cerebral palsy, and Staff Engineer, where design work included a mobility training device for young children with neurological disorders. Early career experience includes a summer internship that involved creating a device for pulmonary function testing in infants. Additionally, Tyler served as Assistant Director of Operations at Ramblewood Country Club, managing junior golf camps. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, obtained in 2016.
