Doris Turkel

Doris Turkel is a paralegal intern at Children's Rights and a Higher Education Campaign Member at NYPIRG. As an Opinions Editor at Pipe Dream, they conduct edits, revisions, fact-checking, and write weekly editorials. Doris also serves as a Policy Director at Roosevelt Network, leading the criminal legal reform policy group. Additionally, they are a visitation coordinator and volunteer at JUST, speak with incarcerated individuals, and connect them with resources. Doris has diverse internship experience in legal and human rights organizations.
