Jovanna Rohs

Jovanna Rohs currently serves as the Chief Program Officer at the Children's Services Fund of Jackson County since June 2023. Prior to this role, Jovanna held the position of Director of Early Learning and Head Start at the Mid-America Regional Council from February 2016 to May 2023. Jovanna's academic career includes serving as a Research Associate and Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) between March 2012 and February 2016, as well as an Instructor at UMKC from September 2002 to September 2010. Jovanna earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education and Urban Leadership and Policy Studies in Education from UMKC in 2007, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Curriculum and Instruction with an Early Childhood Emphasis from UMKC in 2001, and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education/Elementary Education from the University of Central Missouri in 1997.
