Ana E. Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D. is the Administrator at Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology in 1990 from the University of Virginia. While at the University, she was the recipient of the National Science Foundation Minority Fellowship.

Dr. Calderon Randazzo has been working at Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center for the past three decades. The Center provides extensive developmental follow-up, medical care, dental care, comprehensive case management, clinical trials, and early intervention services to over 10,000 medically fragile infants, children, adolescents and women with disabilities and chronic illnesses in Broward County.

Dr. Calderon Randazzo’s proudest accomplishments include having CDTC’s primary care program recognized as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, the Dental Program which provides services to Broward County’s special needs population — regardless of where they receive their primary care, and the opening of CDTC’s in-house Pharmacy.

Dr. Calderon Randazzo is a proud graduate of Leadership Ft. Lauderdale Class 16 and Leadership Broward Class XXXI. She is also a member of the Broward Chamber of Nonprofit Organizations as well as the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.

She has been selected as one of 12 Hispanic Women of Distinction by Latina Magazine and Healthcare Administrator of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association. She received the Sheriff’s Special Recognition Award by the BSO Sheriff’s office, as well as the Liberty Bell Award from the Broward County Bar Association. She was recognized twice by the Boys & Girls Club as one of 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County. She was also honored by the Marine Industry Cares Foundation as a Chairman’s Honoree, named Child Advocate of the Year by the Heart Gallery, recognized by Deliver the Dream as a Community Champion, South Florida Business & Wealth’s Prestigious Women Award in Healthcare. Under her leadership, CDTC received the Florida Blue Foundation Sapphire Award as the second place finalist in the Organization category.
