Gerald Childress

Gerald Childress currently serves as the Chancellor District Supervisor for Spotsylvania County since November 2023. Gerald has been the President & CEO of The Childress Agency, Inc. since February 2012, which has successfully delivered website design and digital marketing services to over 900 customers nationwide. Additionally, Gerald has owned and led Childress Construction since January 2015, providing high-quality IT services and equipment installation as a service-disabled veteran-owned business. Previous experience includes roles as Chief Executive Officer at Verizon from 2000 to 2009, Account Executive at Verizon Information Services from 2002 to 2006, and Communication Center Operator in the United States Marine Corps from December 1989 to December 1992.
