Kathleen Baumgardner

Kathleen Baumgardner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kathleen currently serves as the Executive Director at ChildSafe Colorado since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Wildlife Photographer for Stickman Hawaii LLC, focusing on bird photography. In 2018, they held the position of Strategic Planning Project Manager at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Kathleen was also the Co-founder and Executive Director of FoCo Cafe, a nonprofit restaurant, from 2012 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Colorado State University College of Engineering, including Director of Strategic Communications and Coordinator of Development, Advancement, and Administration. Kathleen began their professional journey as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Knox College and later became the Director of College Communications.
