CDS Program Specialist at ChildSavers

Najiyyah Abdullah, M.Ed., ITDS, currently serves as a CDS Program Specialist and Virginia Quality Coach at ChildSavers since March 2021. Najiyyah also operates as a fashion designer at Aka Naj and Styles by Naj, both established in January 2020, specializing in custom jackets with embroidery and patches. With extensive experience in professional development, Najiyyah has held the position of Professional Development Specialist at the CDA Council since July 2013, conducting Child Development Associate verification visits. Previous roles include Quality Ads Rater at ZeroChaos, Professional Development and Assessments Administrator at the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, Quality Service Specialist at ELCOC, and Early Head Start Teacher at the Child Care Association of Brevard County. Najiyyah holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University-St. Paul and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
