Jerry Deegan

Jerry Deegan has worked as a peer mentor at the National Catholic Educational Association since June 2018. In this role, he provides support and guidance to fellow educators. He is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and is committed to supporting his colleagues in their professional development.

Jerry Deegan worked at Dowling Catholic High School from Aug 2000 to Aug 2017 as President. In this role, Jerry provided leadership, direction and support for the school community. The most important elements of the role were keeping the school community focused on the mission and faith culture of the school, insuring that practices were followed to build a strong organization, and insure that academic and extracurricular programs were relevant and of the highest quality.
