Katie King

Katie King has extensive work experience in childcare and youth development. Katie started their career as a Childcare provider at ACPC (Ames Community Preschool Center), where they were responsible for supervising around 20 children and creating a safe and educational environment. Katie later worked as a Childcare provider for the Battles Family, taking care of two boys and an infant, handling various responsibilities such as cooking, grocery shopping, and pet care. Katie also served as an Intern at Campus Life, organizing and leading Bible study sessions, and assisting with youth group planning. Katie then joined ChildServe as a Lead Teacher, responsible for a group of 12 children aged 12 to 24 months. Currently, Katie works at ChildServe as a Child Care Team Lead.

Katie King earned a Bachelor's degree in Child Adult Family Services from Iowa State University, graduating in 2012.
