Lydia Sink

Clinical Team Lead at ChildServe

Lydia Sink has several years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology. Lydia started their career in 2014 as a Graduate Assistant at T2 PAL, where they worked until 2015. In 2015, they became an Instructor at Lincoln Park Zoo. In 2016, they joined Chicago Public Schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and in that role, they focused on diverse learners and completed AAC trials and device ordering. Since 2017, Lydia has been working at ChildServe, where they started as a Speech-Language Pathologist and later became a Clinical Team Lead. In this position, they have been responsible for providing assessment and treatment to medically complex cases, implementing evidence-based treatment techniques, coordinating care with various healthcare professionals, and developing specialized programs.

Lydia Sink obtained a Master's Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in the same field at the same university in 2015 as well. In 2017, Lydia received the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and became a certified Speech Language Pathologist through the Iowa Department of Public Safety.
