Judy Robbins is a seasoned professional in deaf education and American Sign Language interpretation, with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Performing Arts Sign Language Interpreter at Childsplay, Inc. since 1995, Judy has also held various roles within Mesa Public Schools, including Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Deaf/Hard of Hearing Resource Specialist, and High School Vocational Teacher. Previous experiences include positions at Purple Communications, Inc., Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, and Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, where Judy specialized in theater arts, academic instruction, and transitional skills for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Judy's educational background includes a Master's degree in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University and a Bachelor's degree in Theater for Deaf Audiences from Emerson College.

Over 1,500 young people attend classes each year in the Childsplay Theatre Academy and nearly 5,000 students experience drama directly in their classrooms through Childsplay’s Education Outreach programs. These programs emphasize experiential learning, language acquisition and literacy competency – essential precursors to overall academic achievement and long-term success across all subject areas.
