Volunteer Head Coach at Chilled Ponds Ice Sports Complex

Drew Tribble's work experience begins in 2003 as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Bantam Hockey Team at the Redwood Area Hockey Association. In 2007, they became a Nuclear Power Training Unit Instructor at the MARF Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY, where they trained over 700 Officer and Enlisted Sailors in the safe operation and maintenance of a nuclear propulsion plant. Drew'snext role was with the US Navy as an Officer Candidate in the STA-21 program, attending Purdue University to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering. During this time, they served as the Battalion Executive Officer and Battalion Supply Officer. Drew then served on the USS Dewey DDG 105 as an Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer and CA Division Officer, responsible for the operation and maintenance of ASW equipment. After completing their degree, Drew became a Student at the US Navy before transitioning to the role of Reactor Mechanical Division Officer on board the USS John C. Stennis CVN 74. Drew later became an Adjunct Associate Professor and a Lieutenant on the same ship. Drew's responsibilities expanded as they took on the role of Operations Officer, reporting to the commanding officer on operational readiness and intelligence. Currently, they hold the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy and serves as Reactor Electrical Assistant on the USS John C. Stennis CVN 74. Additionally, Drew has volunteered as a Head Coach for the Whaler Nation Youth Hockey Program at Chilled Ponds Ice Sports Complex and for the Squirts Hockey Team at San Diego Saints Hockey.

Drew Tribble began their education in 1999 at Redwood Valley High School, where they completed their high school education and received a diploma in 2003. In 2006, they attended Nuclear Field Electrician's Mate A School and Nuclear Power School, specializing in Nuclear Electrician's Mate qualification. From 2009 to 2012, Drew pursued a degree in Nuclear Engineering with a minor in Naval Science at Purdue University. In 2015, they attended the Advanced Nuclear Power School. Finally, in 2018 and 2019, Drew Tribble attended Old Dominion University, graduating with a Master of Engineering Management degree.
