Jochum Schuitema

Jochum Schuitema has extensive experience in finance and project management. Jochum is currently working at Chillhop Music as the Head of Finance & Compliance, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Financial Manager at Chillhop Music from October 2020 to January 2023. In their previous role as a Financial Manager at Chillhop Music from August 2018 to October 2020, Jochum played a key role in the growth and success of the company.

Before joining Chillhop Music, Jochum worked at Boskalis Nederland as a Pool Support medewerker from May 2018 to September 2018. Jochum also gained experience as a Beleidsmedewerker project Jong Geleerd at Stichting Dr. Feelgood from June 2016 to June 2018, where they were responsible for analyzing developments and providing strategic advice.

Prior to that, Jochum worked at 010Groep B.V. as a Stafmedewerker Beleid from November 2013 to January 2016. Jochum also served as a Floormanager / Facilitair manager at HipHopHuis from 2009 to 2014, where they played a crucial role in managing the operations of the organization.

In addition, Jochum founded Stichting SolidCulture and served as its algemeen directeur from 2010 to 2013. During their time at Stichting SolidCulture, Jochum was responsible for various tasks such as project management, fundraising, and leading a team of volunteers and interns. Overall, Jochum's work experience demonstrates their expertise in finance, project management, and leadership.

Jochum Schuitema attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2012, where they studied Media en Entertainment Management. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, they attended Hogeschool Zeeland and studied Commerciële Economie. In addition to their education, Jochum obtained certifications in VCA-VOL from PlusPort in July 2017 and Professioneel Praktijkopleiden from GOC in March 2013.
