Karen Slingerland has extensive experience in community services and education, currently serving as the Manager of Children's Community Respite at Chilliwack Society for Community Living since August 2006. In addition to this role, Karen has been a part-time Instructor at the Former V-Twin Motorcycle School associated with the University of the Fraser Valley since February 2009. Karen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English from the University of the Fraser Valley, completing studies between 1999 and 2010.
