Changyi Chen (Alex)

Changyi (Alex) Chen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading technical teams and developing innovative software solutions. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Chime since October 2019, Changyi previously held positions as Lead Software Engineer at Gemnote and Upcall, where notable achievements include developing a "Gift-as-a-Service" platform and an outbound "Call-as-a-Service" platform, respectively. With a background that includes management roles at SpoonRocket and co-founding CafeinDev, Changyi is skilled in Ruby on Rails, agile development practices, and API integrations, contributing to significant efficiency gains and user base growth.
