Jing Cheng

Jing Cheng is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and process engineering. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer for the Machine Learning Platform at Chime since September 2021, Jing Cheng is responsible for leading the development of advanced ML observability and overseeing model operations activities. Prior to Chime, Jing Cheng held roles at LinkedIn, focusing on on-premises deployment platforms, and at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, contributing to production yield management and OPC software. Jing Cheng began expertise at Intel Corporation as a Senior Process Engineer, enhancing material selection and manufacturing processes. Jing Cheng earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemistry from Nankai University.
