John Plaisted is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Chime since June 2021, John previously contributed to LinkedIn's DataHub platform as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on scaling metadata architecture. Prior to LinkedIn, John worked at Google, enhancing the Closure Compiler for modern ECMAScript standards and contributing to Google Play Music's audio services. John began professional development at Jacobs Technology, creating mission planning software for the US Government, and has also held roles in consulting and helpdesk support during education.
