Swati Vijay

Swati Vijay has extensive work experience in risk management and commerce. Swati is currently the Director of Risk Management at Chime since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Facebook as the Manager of FB App Commerce from January 2020 to September 2021. Swati also served as the Senior Manager/Manager and Head of Merchant Risk at Affirm from November 2018 to January 2020. Swati has held various roles at Intuit, PayPal, American Express, and Discover Financial Services, gaining expertise in payments risk, management, and analysis. Their career in risk management started in 2004 as a Business Analyst at American Express.

Swati Vijay obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Delhi University - LSR College. Swati then pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Statistics at Boston University from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they obtained an MS in Quantitative Economics, specializing in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, from the Indian Statistical Institute.
