Gary Alexander Staurowsky is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in fraud risk oversight and compliance. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Fraud Risk at Citi since October 2025, Staurowsky previously held the position of Managing Director at BMO from July 2019 to October 2025, overseeing global fraud and physical security compliance. Staurowsky has also held significant roles at Investors Bank, Capital One, and Morgan Stanley, where responsibilities included developing fraud strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing investigation frameworks, and driving team performance. Staurowsky's educational background includes a degree in International Business and French Language and Literature from Hofstra University, complemented by an experience at Université Laval.
