Robin Frazier Kandel, JD, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Robin began their career as a Trial Attorney, handling medical malpractice and wrongful death cases while achieving favorable outcomes and significant recoveries. Following this, they served as the Assistant Director of Legal Affairs at Macro International, Inc., where they established and implemented a nationwide training and technical assistance program on healthcare privacy laws. Robin then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Program Manager and eventually held the role of Program Manager / Director, overseeing federal programs and contracts while leading client delivery and proposal teams. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Contracts at Chimes District of Columbia Inc., one of the largest nonprofits in the U.S. Through their various roles, Robin has demonstrated expertise in legal affairs, program management, and operational excellence.
Robin Frazier Kandel, JD, PMP pursued a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Prior to that, Robin completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from William & Mary. Additionally, Robin holds various certifications including a Bar License from The Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Furthermore, Robin has obtained the Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) and Certified Security Compliance Specialist (CSCS) certifications from ecfirst. Finally, Robin has also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
