Kaya Egin has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles in various companies. Kaya began their career at The Louis Berger Group in 2008 as a Project Accountant and later worked their way up to become the Deputy Finance Manager. In this role, they were responsible for capacity building, cash flow management, payroll, and payments to subcontractors and vendors. Kaya also wrote a field operations manual. Kaya then joined Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) in 2013 as a Sr. Project Accountant. After that, they worked at Tishman Speyer as a Controller and later as a Senior Controller in Design and Construction. Kaya'smost recent position was at China Construction America, where they served as the VP of Finance.
Kaya Egin completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Campus from 2005 to 2009. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Kaya pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Accounting and Finance at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
