Helena Ask

Helena Ask is a Surface Materials Engineer at Volvo Cars, a position held since April 2024, following a nine-year tenure at CEVT where roles included Senior System Engineer and Design Engineer. In these capacities, Helena was responsible for the joining of body structure components utilizing Catia V5 and Teamcenter, focusing on assembly design and engineering standards. Prior experience includes working as a Design Engineer at Escenda Engineering AB and completing a thesis on acoustic damping at Artifon AB in collaboration with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Helena's professional journey began with an assembly line position at SKF Group. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Design and Product Development from Chalmers University of Technology and studies at the University of Gothenburg and Uddevalla gymnasieskola.
