Jie Zhong

Jie Zhong is a Data Scientist at Volvo Cars since January 2017, specializing in data analysis and method development for predictive maintenance of components, with applications deployed in the cloud for service and end-users. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Simulation Engineer, focusing on vehicle propulsion model development and energy efficiency simulation, and as a System Simulation Engineer for Hybrid Technologies at CEVT, where responsibilities encompassed fuel economy simulation and hybrid system coordination. Additional experience includes contributions as a VSim CAE Engineer at Volvo Car Group and as an Integration Designing Engineer at Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center. Jie Zhong holds a Master’s degree in Applied AI from Luleå University of Technology, a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Automotive Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
