Marie Nicander

Marie Nicander has a diverse work experience spanning over the years. Marie started their career at Volvo Car Corporation in 2005 as a R&D coder for statistical material. Marie later worked at Animex in 2007, involved in technical writing and layout restructuring. Marie joined Sigma Kudos in 2008, initially as a technical writer, and later held roles as a project manager and web catalog manager at Ericsson. In 2012, they worked as a consultant for Cybercom, specializing in interaction design. Marie then transitioned to Alten Sweden in 2013, where they worked as a consultant and test engineer. Marie also had a brief stint at Knightec AB as a consultant before joining CEVT in 2015. At CEVT, they held various roles, including HMI attribute leader, HMI team leader, senior manager of user experience, director of user experience, head of customer experience, and is currently the head of user experience. Marie has a strong background in user experience and customer experience, with expertise in HMI and technical documentation.

Marie Nicander began their education at Porthälla Gymnasium in 1999 and completed their studies in the field of Natural Sciences in 2002. Marie then enrolled at Chalmers University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Technical Communication from 2002 to 2008. During their time at Chalmers, Marie also attended IT University in Gothenburg from 2006 to 2007, focusing on Interaction Design. In addition to their formal education, Marie obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance, Inc. in May 2013.
