Omar Khan

Omar Khan is a seasoned reporter with extensive experience at CGTN since July 2016, specializing in reporting and producing stories for both TV and digital platforms across China. In addition to live reporting, Omar has served as a copy editor, ensuring factual accuracy and quality for live broadcasts. Previous roles include co-founding the Guangzhou Canadian Network, and working as an associate at Dezan Shira & Associates, where responsibilities included client management and business development. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in China and Globalisation Studies from King's College London, a Language Diploma in Chinese Language and Literature, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Legal Studies and International Law, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Colonel By Secondary School.
