Shanaaz Prince

Shanaaz Prince is an experienced media professional currently serving as the New Media Editor - Digital at CGTN since October 2024. Previously, Shanaaz held various roles at Media24 (Pty) Ltd, including Acting Editor and News Editor at YOU, along with News Editor positions at DRUM | Move! and as a journalist at YOU. Additional experience includes serving as a Writer and Social Media Specialist at Tutuka and a journalist at The Daily Dispatch, with early career roles at HedgeNews Africa and the Eastern Cape Today Newspaper. Shanaaz holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University, completed in 2009, following education at Clarendon Girls' High School.
